The Classic Art of Sustainable Fashion is a 3 part project set to run over the course of 3 years.

The basic premise of the project is to use classical European paintings featuring people of African heritage as inspiration for clothing and adornment designs made using sustainable materials from the Caribbean. By mixing historic European paintings featuring people of African heritage and traditional textile development techniques from the Caribbean, we aim to bring together two elements of artistic practice involving the African Diaspora that have been largely ignored throughout history.
